Pre-Arrival & Cancellation Policy
Making a booking
New Payment Terms: Part of the new regulations and policies to keep you safe include pre-payment. Therefore the full cost of your stay will be charged to the card details given at the time of your booking within the 7 days prior to your arrival. Please inform the hotel straight away if you require a different card to be used.
The best way to book your stay is online direct from our website:
This will ensure the best price and latest offers available for the dates you are looking for. You may still call the hotel should you prefer on 01756 792781.
We recommend before booking your stay that you read through our safety procedures to ensure you understand all the actions we have in place to keep you safe during your stay and minimise the risk of Covid-19 spreading. We also strongly recommend when available that you download the government approved track and tracing application to ensure we are all alerted to any guests who may pose a risk of spreading Covid-19.
If you have any concerns about your stay, our team will be happy to talk to you further about these.
If you have to cancel
In order to provide you with greater travel flexibility during the COVID-19 pandemic, Herriots have introduced a more flexible cancellation policy.
As stay-at-home orders lift and travel resumes, we are very excited to welcome you back. At the same time, we know your plans may continue to change, so we have made your reservations flexible:
For future arrivals of existing and new bookings up to the 1st November 2021, including reservations with pre-paid rates that are typically more restrictive, we will allow full changes, or cancellation without a charge up to 48 hours prior to arrival. Any cancellation after this 48 hour period, due to Covid related reasons, will result in full payment of the first night in return for vouchers to the same value to be redeemed at a later date of your choice within a 12 month period. Please note that any changes to existing reservations will be subject to availability and any rate differences.
