Food & Drink

Please note that you are now required to wear a face mask whilst moving around all our public areas and this may only be removed whilst sat at your table for food or drink or whilst in your guest bedroom.

In addition to this we are now required to close the restaurant, bar and public areas of the hotel by 10.00pm each evening.

New procedures for your safety, same great hospitality

  • When you stay with us you will be dining in the designated dining areas.

  • We will confirm at check-in your dining times during your stay.

  • We will be offering an à la carte breakfast for you to enjoy during your stay. To manage physical distancing you will be allocated a time slot which will also be confirmed with you at check in.

  • In addition to Rhubarb restaurant, we have extended our dining spaces in the bar, conservatory and our enclosed courtyard where we have also installed a large illuminated parasol and outdoor heating.

  • We are able to offer flexible table configurations dependent upon your household size. Please inform us of this when booking if you are booking more than 1 room.

  • As we will be operating a seated table service throughout, you will be required to book your table in advance.

Resident & Non-Resident

  • If you are not staying with us you can still dine with us, but once again, we ask is that you book your table in advance.

  • Perspex screens have been installed at the bar however, to maintain the social distancing guidelines, we will not be offering drinks at the bar, instead we will offer a full table service throughout the restaurant, bar, conservatory and courtyard.

  • Non-resident guests will be required to give one set of full contact details per household and their temperature will be taken upon arrival.

  • You will be greeted and seated at your allocated table by a member of our staff.

  • Capacity to all these areas is limited to the tables available, so once all the tables are occupied in a given area, entry to this area will be denied until a table becomes free.

  • We have created separate entry and exit points where possible along with different toilet allocation to different areas.  These will be pointed out either by directional signage or when you are greeted and seated, limiting contact and maintaining social distance between all guests and our staff members.

  • Hand sanitising stations will be set up at the entry and exit points to each area and should be used every time you enter or exit.

  • We ask that guests who are staying with us use the bathrooms in their bedrooms. If you are not staying with us we request that you follow the social distancing measures we have displayed on our signage when using the public bathrooms.

  • Our public bathrooms are equipped with sanitising sprays in the cubicles and sanitising handwash at the basins, as well as contact-free hand dryers and/or disposable hand towels.

  • All our staff members, including those in our kitchens and dining areas, have undergone further training and sanitisation prior to starting work.

  • We recommend all diners download the track and tracing application to ensure we are all alerted to any guests who may pose a risk of spreading Covid-19.

  • If you are displaying any of the symptoms of Covid-19 we ask that you call us to postpone your booking as you will not be allowed entry.
