Your menu selection today has been designed to offer you the freshest of produce local to this area of the Country.

Nestling at the foot of the Yorkshire Dales and yet only 2 miles from the Lancashire border, we are able to source some wonderful ingredients.

It is an area of the country rich in flavours and we have endeavoured to capture some of these for you to taste and to remember.

 

 

 

Starters:

 

Lightly poached asparagus spears served with a poached hen’s egg and topped with Hollandaise sauce and parmesan crackle. £5.95

 

Lancashire smoked chicken breast wrapped in Parma ham, dipped in a light tempura batter and served with a mango and coriander salsa, basil dressing and crispy shallow fried Rocket.  £5.95

 

Roasted yellow and green courgette soup, finished with wilted chives and crème fraiche.  £4.25

 

Scottish smoked salmon served on a bed of chilled rocket with gazpacho sorbet.  £6.95

Herb crusted rack of Gisburn lamb on a bed of dauphinoise potatoes with a redcurrant and rosemary infused jus. £15.95

 

Supreme of corn fed chicken cooked with shallots, smoked bacon, hand picked wild mushrooms, and red wine, served with a creamy herb infused mash. £12.95
